The Design Process

You can begin the design process once you have measurements of the space.  If building an extension or new build, you can use the plans for the build as a starting point. These provide the measurements. We can help you with reading them and choosing the right size kitchen for your space.

  1. Decide on a style that suits you. Be careful not to be too quick to jump on the latest trend. Remember you are creating a design that will stand the test of time. You can always restyle your furniture to give it a refresh or update in the future. Good design stands the test of time.

  2. Once you have refined your style, think about the materials you’ll want to use.

  3. Keep copies of images you like and you can show us for inspiration.

  4. Carefully think about your selected design/materials to ensure you are confident in your chosen design.

  5. Let us then help lead you through the design process, offering advice on areas such as aesthetics, storage, functionality and material selection.
